So, today I did a little scouting and to my surprise and delight I found a site that I intend on using to the fullest this month: www.mybarre3.com !!
This site has a great selection of barre classes inspired by the body conditioning styles of pilates, yoga and ballet. Focused on good posture and the use of isometric contractions, these workouts are a fun way to work out from home and get a solid sweat sesh in.

At only $15 for a monthly subscription, and no long-term commitment, this may be one of the easiest workouts you can commit to. No need to pay an arm and a leg on trainer or class fees! Workouts range from 10 mins to a full hour, and there is a great variety of different classes to chose from (including pre & post-natal). Barre3 developer Sadie Lincoln sure makes it a simple and stress-free to work your body efficiently no matter your time-frame, fitness level or budget!
So Im giving it a shot for the month. After trying her 10 minute classes from the youtube Class Fit Sugar, I have to say that something tells me I will be feeling
a) taller
b) sorer
c) more toned & tighter
d) stronger
by the end of the month. And I don’t think I’ll be complaining about that…
Have fun trying this one out! There is a reason barre classes are all the rage right now, so check it out for yourself without breaking the bank.
;)
Do something good for yourself as the weekend hits full swing. Try doing this 10 minute yoga series that targets the cardiovascular system.
